REALMS
The realms used to be alternate dimensions that could only be reached through portals or special gifts. That all changed when Bolas took over and merged all the worlds on top of Earth. Now the realms refer to the areas of the Earth which are inhabited by certain kinds of creatures and their respective kinds of mana. However, the world hasn't been split into five equal parts for each of the realms, instead the areas of different mana are scattered throughout the earth with realms overlapping in many places, especially with what used to be the human world.
They have maintained their own characteristics mostly, especially in areas where certain kinds of mana are the richest and have very little of any other kind of mana.

[attr="class","appcon"]Terrain:
The red realm is notorious for it's mountainous landscape and volcanic activity. There are very few trees that grow here and the ones that manage are tough and short. The ground is dusty and rocky. The sky is always cloudy, but the realm has never documented a rainfall. Thunder and lightning can be seen and heard throughout a day.There are roads and tunnels throughout the mountains to make travel easier for the inhabitants. Big cites are usually found inside the mountain bases, whereas smaller villages are out in the open. A visit to the main city in the red realm will give you wonderful glimpses of the famous goblin architecture.

The goblins are the most prominent race in this realm. They populate large cities in the mountains, build the roads and tunnels throughout the realm and are the most friendly beings. Although they aren't particularly smart, they are wary of outsiders and have a way with architecture. Dragons live at the tops of the mountains, some live in the active volcanoes. They are a lonely breed and generally keep to themselves... unless you're a sickly fire sheep. Then you might be in trouble. In the few trees that grow in the realm, phoenixes make their nests. They are a really rare species because of the lack of habitat. They are the friendliest creatures in the realm.Other beings found here include spirits and haunts, like in all realms. The spirits hear are of anger, passion and slaughter. All of these phantasms are bold and frighteningly blunt. Some creatures look like animals found in the human world; although the are marred by fire and have a distinct air of anger and impulsiveness about them.

The characteristic of the red realm is fast and powerful, ultimately ending in reckless behavior. Everything goes at a pretty fast pace here and it might end in destruction a little too often. The culture of this realm is dynamic, free, and passionate as well as shortsighted, temperamental and destructive.[/PTab={height:570px;}][PTab=BLUE]

The blue realm is a watery one; made up of a chain of islands and an endless sea. Its sandy beaches turn into packed ground, but always collapse back into sand in a few miles. Trees are numerous here and there is a constant layer of fog, even though the sky might not have a cloud in it. It gets a little more spooky at night, when things aren't as they seemed in the day time.The fauna that populated the island is made up of short grasses, palm trees, various algae and mosses and low shrubs. It has a tropical feel to it, although the weather is neither hot nor cold.

The ocean is the most dangerous place in this realm. Monstrous creatures live there; sea monsters, giant fish. They don't come close to the shore because of the other dangerous, smaller things swimming around. Sirens and mermaids lurk around there, luring unwary passersby. On land, the beings are more friendly, but not by much. They are generally solitary creatures who keep to themselves because they are so wrapped up in their own projects and research, they don't have time to socialize unless it concerns them in some way. Wizards, mages, psychics. All of these races make up the population of the realm. Other phantasms floating around include Intelligence, Patience and Will.[attr="class","appcon"]Culture:
Everyone is after knowledge in this realm. The culture here is quiet and observant. If fights ever occur, they might not be obvious and they usually end with one precise move instead of trying to wear down opponents. They talk in circles and riddles, so paying attention to detail is a must, if you want to ask any questions at all.[/PTab={height:570px;}][PTab=GREEN]

All of the green realm is a heavily wooded forest. There is a mystical feel to it as if everything is alive and watching you. At night it's dangerous, but in the daytime it has a more peaceful feel to it. Some trees you may notice have windows or clocks on them. Maybe there are some dents in the ground, or a hollow log buried in the ground. These are signs of a city. Elves populated the ground level of cities where as fairies live in the canopy. Outside of the cities live other creatures. They might look like the ones in the human world, but they are ten times bigger and much more deadly.The cities are welcoming to strangers, mostly because they can tell who is a danger to them and who is not based on the pure size of the body. The elves and fairies have their own brand of natural magic to defend their cities.

As you've learned, elves and fairies live in the cities of the green realm. Giant slugs and worms, threaten their villages every day as well as a slew of other abnormally large monsters. There are some things deep in the depths of the forest that no human eyes have ever seen before. Animated slime creatures, flesh eating algae. The circle of life is constantly moving. For some it moves more quickly than others. Humanoid creatures do what they can to survive and are much lower on the food chain that we'd like to think.The spirits at work in the green realm encompass Growth, Strength and Nature.

Everyone loves to have power, but that doesn't mean that there aren't gentle giants in these woods. All of the culture in this realm folds back to nature and being one with the wild life. Harming the forest would not fly in this realm, although there are some people who have tried to cut down the trees. The trees fight back.[/PTab={height:570px;}][PTab=BLACK]

The swamp covers most of this real. Trees are forever in the process of decay, although it is debated if they were ever alive in the first place. Everything has a very dark color and feel to it. Graveyards are scattered around, although it is also debate if those beings were ever alive or if that's just where zombies... live? There are always drops of blood around; trails leading somewhere, splashes on a tree. The sun never rises here, what is considered "day time" leaves the sky a rolling dark gray, and the lighting is closely related to dusk in the human world. The night is always violently black.The towns in the black realm are entirely run by militias and warlords. Fighting is always occurring between them. The more powerful races of the realm are noticeable by the amount of area they control.

In the swamps, the will-o'-the-wisps taunt unsuspecting beings and try to lure them to their deaths. Ghosts and spirits roam around as well, still trying to find out what they have left to do in this realm. Some of them are friendly and might not want to eat you, but those are few and far between. The phantasms of Greed, Chaos and the Void can be found roaming around here.As for the city folk: the vampire clans tend to be the biggest and most feared. Zombies also control a town. Demons control another. Witches are a smaller group, but they keep their attackers at bay with their dark magic. Although some form groups; a lot of solitary creatures live there as well with allegiance to no one.

By far the deadliest realm of them all, the beings here live off of death. It is a celebrated thing, although it is a strange atmosphere in which things never die, but they are never quite alive either. The beings here serve only themselves, even ones with "alliances" to others. Greedy is an understatement to describe the feel of this realm. Whether it be a lust for power or money, there are always fights occurring here.[/PTab={height:570px;}][PTab=WHITE]

The big attraction in the white realm is the cities. The streets are lined in a perfect grid for maximum efficiency. The people travel on foot or in the air, with air traffic as regulated as the street level. The whole city is designed around the courthouse, which spans a few blocks. Laws are taken extremely seriously here and it is arguably the safest realm of them all. There is a lot of light here, although it is hard to tell if the city is actually floating on clouds or if it's just a trick of the realm. The night never arrives, but the clouds turn the orange and pink colors of a sunset in the human world and then the sun rises again.The city sprawls into more rural areas where rules are less enforced, although still generally followed to a T. Rolling clouds are a substitute for grassy plains, although on particularly windy days, you can see some pale grasses poking out of the cottony white cover.

A lot of things have wings here. Very colorful birds make their nests at the top of the buildings in the city. Eagles can be found roaming around the courthouse, although these eagles stand upright and can talk to you. Griffons and angels are also found here, as well as many other flying mythical creatures. The culture here is the most welcoming of all of the realms. Everyone is friendly and always willing to heal or give directions. It's not until someone breaks a rule that they get angry and another face of the realm is shown.[/PTab={height:570px;}][/PTabbedContent={height:570px;}]
