[PTabbedContent] [PTab=POWER] [attr="class","appcon"]Abilities: Regeneration- When Osiris feeds off of his victim or hosts life energy he is able to regenerate by absorbing the life energy into his own body. He can heal his own wounds, maintain his youth, and really get a nice high off of the whole experience. It’s exhilarating. However, the older he gets and the more wounded or less food he consumes he needs to feed off more often. Otherwise he will be drained, week, and showing signs of ageing he usually wouldn’t show.Sedation- Once upon a time when Osiris was born to a Egyptian cult, he had sacrifices brought to him growing up. However, since he well outlived their means, and since they outlived their usefulness (And he’s eaten them all), His Ubeity has learned to adapt. Over time he has learned to sedate his victims with a sort of venom that can be found in his saliva, or sweat glands. The feeling of being sedated is almost a high, some hosts can even get addicted to it. It stuns his victims in order to better feed on them. [attr="class","appcon"]Explanation of Power: Osiris has a parasitic Ubeity attatched to his very soul, with temptations and hungers influenced onto him by the thing that. It promise’s him power and protection and all it asks is for him to feed for it, and it will grant him eternal life. Osiris does this by establishing a connection with his host (Or victim depending on if he kills them) and then draining the person of their mana through it. Skin to skin often works for smaller taps of mana, for larger feedings Osiris must interrupt a stable barrier of theirs, such as breaking the skin in a certain place, breaking a bone, harming them or putting them in danger usually puts their mana into overdrive, then, he either uses his hands or his mouth, (The sensation of mana draining is like eating. So it is quite a natural feeling for him to bite into or drain them by latching onto them by his mouth. Humans themselves possess mana but in smaller amounts, just enough to keep their spirit in tact. Usually when Osiris feeds on Humans he kills them just because to feed he usually needs all they have and that put’s such an intense strain on their body, their hearts usually give out on them. Gifted have more mana and are able to recharge or gather more mana from their ubeity’s, so he usually tries his best to make them a host and feed off them in small amounts. During the feeding process, Osiris is at his strongest, having a direct line to the very thing that feeds his ubiety yet, hurting him or stunning him while feeding is still quite possible. He can be damaged or hurt outside of feeding as well. He is in no way invincible and his body is that of a normal humans at his physical peak. He simply maintains it through feeding, he cannot improve upon it in anyway, take any of their powers, or get anymore benefits from it besides maintaining or healing his body. He doesn’t have super strength, or super speed, or anything truly worth while. His powers are solely centered around the actual feeding. He himself is a simple host to the ubeity that controls him. His features are sharp and angled and his eyes are dark and intense. He is unsurprisingly vain, indulging in the finer things of life, even if he can’t afford him such as keeping up with trends or keeping his hair in great shape. His hair is cut in the nicest ways, only growing out when he goes on the move or on the run, despite his Egyptian heritage he is paler and his eyes almost have this sunken in look to him, almost corpse like. He is inkless, never allowing someone to get so close to him with a needle to stain his skin with some petty image. Though he’s prone to biting he has no protruding fangs or sharpened teeth. They are however sharper than normal teeth but not to some obscene amount. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=PERSONALITY] [attr="class","appcon"]Likes: Women, Mirrors, Fan’s, Cult’s, Movie’s, Books, Music of almost any kind, the death of his host [attr="class","appcon"]Dislikes: Torture, His death, the premature death of his host or victims, Hunters, his host getting away, Superstitions [attr="class","appcon"]General Personality: Osiris is vain but really good at putting up a front. He considers himself the greatest actor he’s ever known and his arrogance is engorged from being brought up and raised by a cult believing him to quite literally been a gift from the gods. He is, however, quite a great actor. He has had age’s to master false emotions, reactions, he knows how to be suave, how to be seductive, how to pick easy targets. Though, he is quite fond of the chase. He like’s the occasional chase, reveling in the thoughts of finally killing them, sometimes he finds that special one that he draws the feed off for long amounts of times. He is spoiled, the original spoiled brat. He does not find love in people or things, he has trouble understanding love or natural connections. Mothers and their children, lovers and their significant others, he doesn’t understand why people pair up and he doesn’t understand why they would sacrifice things for each other, sometimes he pretends to know, pretends to care, even sometimes strings a host along to believing he could truly change. He can’t, he finds comfort in that. The closest thing he’d find to love is his dependence on his ubeity, it was the first voice he heard, the only thing that’s been with him since the beginning. Want to really mess with him or bring him to his knees? Cut off his ubeity from him, or silence his ubiety from him. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=HISTORY] [attr="class","appcon"]Family: Nefertari Kek (Mother, deceased) Seti ? (Father, deceased) Aneksi Kek ( First Daughter, deceased) [attr="class","appcon"]History: 392 Ad, the closing’s of Egyptian temple spurs a panic among a small group of practicing believers flock to a priest of Anubis for answers. He came up with a plan. He would get in contact with the great god of death by bridging the gap, opening up the portal of the underworld. Or at least, that’s what he told them. What he thought was the portal to Anubis, a way to the underworld was really a natural portal to the black realm, or the dark realm. It took a few years to plan it in secret, plan their uprising. But first, they had to find a naïve girl, one who would be willing to offer her child to the alter.Nefertari was young and ignorant. Wooed by the priest’s silver tongue and the promise of her marriage to Seti, a wealthy man part of the cult who had caught her eye. She got what she was promised, a marriage to Seti and a year of blissful marriage. Or, at least that’s what it had been painted to seem. Yet, as soon as she became pregnant with Osiris Seti became distant. His work, his task had been done. Through her pregnancy she was sent to the priest, watched heavily to make sure her pregnancy went along smoothly and as planned. She became frightened, for both her and her baby. They kept her in, kept her hostage, she a simple vessel of their chosen one. The time came for Nefertari to birth Osiris and yet she could not let this happen, she concealed a dagger under her robes as they brought her to the opening of the portal. Right as the priest attempted to induce labor she stabbed herself. Unfortunately, the young mother only lured the dark ubeity out, taking her life force and feeding it into the baby inside so that it’s precious vessel maybe kept safe. Osiris was born healthy, from a corpse. He never knew his mother, only knew that she was a stupid girl, ignorant and a mere vessel. That’s all she was. The priests of the cult raised him, lavished him in anything he asked for growing up, sweets, robes, gold, women, hosts, anything he liked. They had sacrifices brought to him at his request, he was raised to believe that he was above them, even the priests insisted he was above them. He was a gift from their god, their last shining light. Yet, at their attempts to recruit more members, they grew too fast. The roman soldiers found out and raided the temple, they were no match. A priestess named Nanu was able to sneak Osiris from the on slaughter of the cult and yet she had not expected for Osiris to turn on her, feeding on her, yet for some reason she didn’t die, not at first. She had more mana than Osiris had ever feasted on before. She was a gifted. Her ability to move through the shadows, a gift from the black realm. He stayed with her out of mere curiousity, fathering a child with her. His feasting on her stopping. Aneksi was the only thing he had ever come close to loving, he became pocessive of the child, reveling in her perfection. She was his gift to the world. Yet his Ubeity began to become restless. She was a parasite to him, a weakness. She would be his downfall. Nanu could see the darkness growing in him, she feared for her daughters life. Osiris began his feasting on Nanu, Nanu after words planned to gather her daughter in the night and prepared to leave. Osiris’s ubiety woke him, telling him Nanu had turned on him, he would be killed if he didn’t kill Nanu first. Plus, with Nanu gone Aneksi would belong to him and solely him. He killed Nanu just as she readied to wake their daughter. Aneksi awoke to the slaughter and became fearful and disgusted with her father. As she grew into a young woman, Osiris found that the more he feasted, the less he aged. They had to move, not only to cover up the kills but also to keep his lack of ageing under wraps. Aneksi became restless as she matured and her father did not, she ran from him more times than not and yet he always seemed to find her. It came to the point of him killing a lover of hers that she was going to run away, broken and upset she begged for her death. Osiris gave it to her. Continuing through the years Osiris developed into the perfect monster he could be. Sometimes he lived as a nobleman, sometimes not. Sometimes the money he lived on was his own, sometimes not. Sometimes he grew in communities, gathering a life for a short while, marrying an unsuspecting woman and producing off spring and then sometimes leaving them or killing them, whichever fit the mood of the moment, sometimes he’d simply carry on as a simple bachelor. He would find the occasional cult that would cater to him, feed him, honor and worship him. He loved the 70’s. He happened upon a few interesting cases, some of his past hosts or lovers proving amusing to him. Especially the gifted ones. There was this one he had run into once, a pure one with similar gifts to him yet an interesting twist. She was pure, light, selfless. His opposite, this intrigued him. She was a teacher to a secret school full of gifted…full of his source of choice. And yet when he fed on her she recovered faster than he thought she could or should. It intrigued him and still intrigued him to this day. Unfortunatley she had this little life force annoyingly clamped to her side. She had a child she was mothering and well, he would have to fix that. She ran from him, not even remembering why she did it and then the world turned to chaos and dust which frustrated him. It was an inconvenience. Food was harder to find and people were more weary of strangers than usual. He moved to a city, a place for people and food, he was becoming desperate to feed and then something delightful happened. He saw the little fae girl again, with child still in hand. He had his eyes set back on her. If he was going to move in on her for the kill he would do it leisurely. Teasingly. Yet, first he needed to get rid of her distraction. The child had to go. That was easier then he imagined, now all he had to do was track her. Of course, he’d have a little fun along the way. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] [PTab=ROLEPLAY] ”do you love me?” The pretty little blonde he’d been courting asked as he held her against the tree in her families garden. He looked at her quizzingly. Slowly, he took her head in his hands, her bright blue eyes looking up at him expectantly. He cherished moments like this. ”Why…Eliza.” He cooed, moving her hair behind her ear watching her eyes light up in joy as she thought he’d give her what she wanted. His love. ”Of course not.” With that he dug his nails into the sides of her face, making her gasp, his mouth found the side of her cheek, where the wound had been made. He bit into her, tears springing from the young girls eyes as she wept. She was gone before he even got to enjoy the feeding. He let her drop limp, a look of disgust across his face as he wiped her blood from his mouth. ”So messy.” He mused looking over the unmoving girl curiously. ”Funny, I thought you’d last longer. Hardly even worth it.” There was nothing to dwell on though, his host was gone. He scoffed strolling out of the garden, time to move on. ”Bye Eliza.” He called out fondly, giving her a half hearted wave. His ubeity reveling in his most recent feeding.[/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][/PTabbedContent={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] |
