[attr="class","appcon"]Explanation of Power: Erik is a spirit, and with that comes a few advantages over a corporeal form along with a few disadvantages.Intangibility: Erik exists separately from physical matter, meaning he passes through anything and everything. Even if he wishes to affect the world it is physically impossible for him to do so, save for when he possesses a corpse. Invisibility: Naturally Erik is undetectable, save for some blue realm touched people being able to read relevant things from him or black realm inhabitants being able to see him just fine. He can make himself visible if he chooses, appearing in that case as a pale, almost a dim blue glowing fog that takes the shape of his body and clothing just moments before his death. Corpse possession: Erik can infuse dead bodies of Humans and earthly beasts with his own essence to control them. This is typically the only state in which Erik can physically interact with the world, but corpses in good condition are in short supply these days. When possessing a body there are two ways for Erik to be physically forced out. If the shell is beheaded or broken to the point of immobility then he will be banished and forced out of the body Limited psychic powers: The closer Erik is to his run the stronger he becomes. This is particularly evident in his ability to interact with items in the vicinity of the Empire State Building. Light objects can be thrown throughout much of he surrounding area and electronics can be shut off or forced to go haywire within a three mile radius. Dual location: Erik exists near his urn to some extent at any given time, and is aware of much of what happens nearby. This is also an anchor point that he may return the rest of himself to at any time if he wishes. Weaknesses: -Banishment: few things can "Kill" a ghost. In fact, everything that has been successful just sent Erik back to his remains held at the Empire State Building a week later. -Erik is adversely affected by white realm powers. Someone being healed near him sounds like nails on a chalkboard and causes his ethereal bones to ache, Portals are inescapable black holes that banish him when entered, and physical manifestations are capable of harming him. -silver burns go through and weakens his abilities for a while. This is relative to the purity of the silver, and if it is pure enough one can even strike him with it. Even so, the spirit form is resilient is difficult to banish through these means. -Necromancers hold power over Erik. He can be subjugated for stretches of time, but this does not last forever. He has will that lifeless corpses do not. -Destruction of his urn: If his remains are scattered Erik will cease to be. Of course, he is fiercely protective of the basement that holds his ashes. The electronic locks are disabled and the halls have had traps put in at his request.
