[PTabbedContent] [PTab=APPEARANCE] [attr="class","appcon"]Height: 5 feet, 8 inches [attr="class","appcon"]Hair Color: Brown [attr="class","appcon"]Eye color: Blue [attr="class","appcon"]Play By: Alexis Bledel [attr="class","appcon"]General Appearance: Argos was never one to take much consideration in her appearance. If the shoes fit, then she wore them. Her clothes are usually mismatched: she could be wearing Converse sneakers with a fancy dress, or even wear nothing but skirts and a tank top for weeks. She's used to wearing shoes that don't match, socks that clash, and leggings with holes in them. However, she prefers dresses, and nothing else. She showers every other day, so she's used to being clean and smelling nice. Her hair is brown, naturally wavy, and she likes it that way. She cuts her bangs when they get too long, and she only brushes her hair out a little, wanting to keep the wavy attribute of her hair. Her eyes are blue: they are rare, but she takes great pride into her eyes. She may not have the best fashion sense, but she takes care of her body. She's not the skinniest gal around, but she is far from the strongest. Argos' body is not used to heavy lifting of any sort, with narrow shoulder blades and thin arms. However, Argos has very good health, and her legs are the strongest parts of her body. Because she doesn't have much weight on her and from being a former runner, Argos can make a quick getaway if need be. After all, if her body is not strong, then she needs to know how to get away from a bad situation. She's figured that out by running. Before Balos attacked, Argos always looked on the brighter side of life. One of her frequent hobbies was finding her friends and cheering them up with compliments. She hated seeing anyone frown, and wanted to help them in any way possible. However, because of her constant kindness and a naive streak, she's been taken advantage of quite a few times. She would give her friends and anyone in trouble a "benefit of the doubt", and help them unselfishly. When she did find out someone was taking advantage of her, she tries to give them a second and even a third chance to make things right, to not take advantage of her again. But this would lead to Argos questioning herself, wondering if her only use was to be used by others. These people who betrayed her usually lost her trust pretty quick, but she will still drop everything for them if they are desperately in need of help. After Balos attacked, however, Argos became more wary of people. Even though she wanted nothing more than for someone to say that she was important, that she was needed...she needed to survive. She is no longer friends with anyone in her hometown, because almost all of them died to Balos' attacks. When she tried to help, she was usually met with a shotgun or hostility, and her instincts didn't give her time to try and heal wounds. She hates violence of any sort, finding it to be a selfish act that does not benefit anyone but the person attacking. She is a pacifist by nature, preferring to run away from conflict rather than to commit the act. Argos is now a scavenger, trying to adapt with situations she finding herself in a trying to stay neutral. But she has a nasty habit of running away when she just can't figure out a good answer. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=HISTORY] [attr="class","appcon"]Family: No living family members, Mother died in Balos attack, and Father is presumed dead [attr="class","appcon"]History: Argos grew up with her mother, Prisma Nearina, in the city of San Jose. Prisma had many jobs, usually leaving Argos home with either a babysitter or by herself. Argos wasn't a selfish kid: if mom didn't serve her favorite food, she didn't complain or whine. She ate what was given to her, did all of her chores, never tried to make things harder on her mother. Her mother would come home, tired from work, and Argos would cheer her up, make her mom smile even for a second. As she got older, Argos became the cook in the house, and started reading books. When she was old enough, her mom put her in preschool, where Argos did her best to be a very good student. She sang with everyone, she shared snacks with others, she loves storytime, naptime...she loved every part of preschool! That was where she met her best friend, Sharona Widir. Argos usually called her "Sha", since her name was hard for Argos to pronounce. Sha and Argos were the best of friends, helping each other with problems or homework, and Sha was a gentle soul. Sha was very pacifistic, and when she got bullied, Argos helped her and stood by her side. The two worked together like yin and yang, establishing a good group of friends by the time junior high started. But very suddenly, Sha had transferred schools without warning, leaving Argos without her best friend. When Argos tried to reach out for Sharona, calling her, texting her, even going to Sha's house, Sharona refused to see Argos, leaving her hanging. It was her 14th birthday when she heard the doorbell ring. When it did, there was Sha. Argos was surprised, but was still feeling betrayed by her friend. Sha finally explained that she was a Gifted, and Sha didn't know how to tell Argos. Argos forgave her, but the trust between the two was damaged. Her and Sha began rekindling a bond that had been absent for years, learning more and more about the Gifted people. Along the way, Argos was given a beautiful Harley Davidson for her upcoming birthday, as a surpise. but when Balos attacked, everything changed. That morning, Argos was woken up by Sha, who told Argos that she had to leave, to get away. Argos couldn't understand, but when she looked outside, there was constant noise and destruction. Balos' minions covered the streets, and Argos took her motorcycle and drove to her mother's apartment, with a little help from Sha since she had only recently was learning to drive her motorcycle. The Apartment Complex had been smashed to the ground, bodies underneath the debris. And among the bodies was Argos' mother, clutching a picture of a younger Argos. Distraught and devastated by such a site, Argos was given no time to recover before Balos' minions were closing in on her. Sha told Argos to leave, to hide...because he was coming. A man named Balos was going to kill her, and Sha would not allow Argos to be killed. Making a promise with Sha that they would come back alive together, Argos turned on the motorcycle and high-tailed out of the city and out of site with encouragement from Sha. Weeks after the devastation of her town, Argos went back to help and look for survivors. She found some, and she tried to help them out while looking for Sha. Argos never found Sha, and when she tried to help, guns were pointed at her. They were out for their own survival, and Argos didn't want to die until she met Sha again. She rides her motorcycle with her, getting gas when she can, shelter when kind people offer it. But Argos is on her own now, so she wanders looking for the friend she lost. Even though it has been five years since the Day of Balos (the day which her city was destroyed), Argos still looks for her friend high and low, believing her to be alive somewhere. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] [PTab=ROLEPLAY] Argos took one final look at her motorcycle. Her Harley...he had been her companion. But he had run out of gas, and she didn't know if any gas stations would be salvageable after Balos. It was hard to think about, losing her Harley. After all, she had already lost her mother and her best friend. No...Sha must be alive somewhere. I have to find her. We promised...And if she's a Gifted, I know she'll survive. Argos had been heading towards the Big Apple, and her Harley seemed to take her a portion of the way. She had a long walk ahead of her, and she wasn't looking forward to it. But she had to leave Harley behind, to rot...she couldn't just drag it with her. She knew what she had to do. She parked her bike on the side of the road, grabbing the backpack she had found along the way. It had been someone else's, maybe a young child's by the bedazzling colors and fake jewels on it. It had a couple of rations in it, probably enough to last for a week. She had also found a knife comb along the way. It helped when others tried to threaten her, trying to steal her supplies when she just wanted to help them. She pushed a button on the knife comb, and the comb flew out of the handle. Argos began to brush her hair, moving her bangs a little off to the side. She then retracted the comb and put it away. "Always wondered what it was like in the Big Apple...let's hope Sha didn't party too hard without me." Argos said out loud, laughing. There, she had regained her smile. "Sha, wait for me!" She said excited, and took off running. Oh, once they found each other, what a relief it would be. And Argos didn't need Harley to comfort her until that time came. Not anymore.
