[PTabbedContent] [PTab=POWER] [attr="class","appcon"]Abilities: Dragon Mimicry [attr="class","appcon"]Explanation of Power: While he is still not in full control of it, Kenta has the powers of a mystical Dragon. The basis of his ability is his manipulation of fire. He can only really create and release fire, and any fire that may have been started already can't be commanded. Otherwise, if he was using the flame for something like light then it must be on the surface of his skin. His skin is fire proof however, even though his clothes aren't. He can also shapeshift into a Dragon, but that would result in him going mad, or even quite possibly the chance that'll he'll never go back into his human form ever again and he'll become the dragon. That ultimately results in him being unable to make that transformation. To make up for that, he can change parts of his body to that dragon form so that he can have talons, and scales or even wings. Though only one or two parts of his body can change at a time, meaning he can only change two arms or two legs, or an arm and a leg. He has acute sense but primarily because of his need to hunt. That's just how he typically looks though. He has brown hair that typically is either spiky or loose. His eyes are a dark brown and almost look black but if you look closely, you can see the snake-like slits in them. He has fair to almost pale skin and has a few scars running down his back. Two are actually the slits that his wings come out of. His teeth are perfectly straight and his canines are in the same shape as a dog's. His right arm is covered in bandages from scars, that lead all the way up to his shoulder. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=PERSONALITY] [attr="class","appcon"]Likes: Meat, Bonfires, Reading, Cutting Things, Meditating [attr="class","appcon"]Dislikes: Being Impatient, Making Mistakes, Math, Social Environments, Risky Decisions [attr="class","appcon"]General Personality: Kenta in a way doesn't have his own personality. It's a way of thinking that his father instilled into him. Kenta is laid back, and isn't really emotionally responsive. He isn't familiar with empathy, mainly because of his lack of experience with compassion and love. He rarely gets sad, because of his father's attempts to make his emotionally stability fortified unlike his own. The Junior turned out much different from what his father expected, but was satisfied with temporarily. Kenta Jr doesn't understand social environments which make him uncomfortable because he doesn't know how to make friends or treat people. He does somewhat know a little medical care, and how to cook and fend for himself. There is another side to Kenta that is very vicious and primal. He sometimes has a blood lust because of it, but it's only really when he's in an heightened state of stress or anger. That's his dragon side, which he tries hard to keep in check. Most might not see it at first, but Kenta's a really nice and good kid once you get to know him. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=HISTORY] [attr="class","appcon"]Family: Kenta Ryuu Hayato Sr. (father), Kaitlyn Reese-Hayato (mother), Father Gabriel (Kenta's Adoptive Father) [attr="class","appcon"]History: The Hayato household was a strange one. Kenta Hayato was a telekinetic with emotional problems, and Kaitlyn Hayato was a Beast Tamer, with a fiery attitude. Kaitlyn fell in love with Kenta after meeting him at a college party. In her second year, Kaitlyn became pregnant with her son. The name the couple decided on was strange at first because to them this was all so sudden. Flash Lee Hayato. This was an attempt to name him after Kaitlyn's father, but they then decided to name him after Kenta himself. Kenta Jr. lived a pretty normal life, up until the attack of Bolas and his men. Kaitlyn died, leaving Kenta to protect and father the child until his teenage years. Kenta raised Kenta Jr. as a soldier and tried to teach him the ways of survival as he couldn't do much to give him a normal life. They didn't have much. They just had a abandoned, run down apartment all to themselves. That's the most luxury they could afford. Sometimes the loss of Kaitlyn caused Kenta to have an emotional breakdown and made him abuse Kenta Jr. Soon though, he got used to it, and it didn't really bother him at all, because he didn't feel the same way other people felt about it. He didn't really even know anyone other than his father. He still knew that his father loved him, and he was just going through a rough time trying to process everything. He never went through any social activity, and the only way he learned about human interaction was through books that he read or his father. Kenta only learned about his power when his father figured something wasn't right with him. He kind of looked like a lizard at times, and his teeth were sharp. He always seemed to be really cold on the surface of his skin. He figured it out when one unfortunate but fateful day came. Bolas' men came and attacked them, out of the blue with no warning at all. They were discovered when a ten year old Kenta Jr did something he never did before in his life. He breathed fire. It was the most amazing thing Kenta ever saw, but the last thing he ever saw. Bolas' men took his life, as he tried to protect Kenta Jr, and give him a chance to escape. Kenta Jr ended up in the outskirts of New York, alone and forgotten. He had no choice but to travel by himself, and survive off of what he could find. Luckily for him, it wasn't that hard. He found shelter among the rebels trying to find a way to bring Bolas down, but deep down Kenta didn't really care about all of that. He just wanted to focus on survival. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] [PTab=ROLEPLAY] These houses were pretty bland. Especially the one in the church. Kenta never really participated in the Church, he only watched the Prayers and Sermons. He was forced to by Father Gabriel. The pastor of the Church. He sat inside of the dining room, playing with a set of marbles. There were four other boys in the kitchen playing cards, and they didn't say a word to him. Father Gabriel strode into the room quietly, and saw Kenta alone. "Kenta my son... why are you here by yourself? Everyone's inside the Chapel talking. What about the boys? You can talk to them right?" Kenta only glanced once at them and kept messing around with his marbles. "I don't like them. I like being alone." Father Gabriel looked at him. He knew painfully that wasn't true and that Kenta never really liked to be alone. He just said that to make himself seem tougher. "Come take a walk with me then." Gabriel suggested. Kenta sat there unresponsive. "I'll make it worth your while?" Still no response. "I'll teach you how to pick up girls..." Silence. "...The next time I go for food, I'll make sure to get you that special beef jerky I got you that one day." Kenta suddenly shrugged and got out of his chair and went out the door. The mention of food always seemed to work. Father Gabriel made sure to carry his gun. It was dangerous to really go down the street in that area. He wouldn't go too far. He stared down at the dark end of the road. Some strange and terrifying creatures roamed around the darkest parts of the world. He looked down and saw a cat brushing against Kenta's leg, and soon Kenta picked up the cat by the skin on it's back. Father Gabriel grimaced. "Kenta! Don't hold the cat like that." Kenta looked at Father Gabriel puzzled. "Why? It's just a cat. I didn't know there was a special way to hold it." Kenta looked at the cat and it scratched him in the face, forcing him to drop it. "Ow!" Kenta kicked the cat as it ran away. He touched the site where it scratched him and saw he was bleeding. "Stupid cat." Father Gabriel forced a grin, but on the inside he was really disappointed. Kenta was a mere child and that's the way he thought of things. He probably really didn't have a good father figure. "Kenta, you should be more caring. That's another living being. It shares the earth God created for you." Kenta shrugged. "It was a stupid cat, and it shouldn't of come near me. It scratched me for no reason." Father Gabriel looked at the scratch on Kenta's face. He put his hand on it, and it began to glow. The scratches sealed and there were no sign of them other than the blood trickling down his cheek. "You truly have much to learn about life my boy." Father Gabriel had no idea how to get Kenta more aware of compassion and feelings. It's like the boy was built on the same foundation of baby Alligators. Once your born, you're on your own. Do what you please, because no one cares. Kenta didn't seem to care about anything or anyone at all. It seemed sort of dangerous for many reasons, but no one deserved to live a life like that.
