[PTabbedContent] [PTab=POWER] [attr="class","appcon"]Abilities: Controls dead things. [attr="class","appcon"]Explanation of Power: Making zombies is Lilana's specialty. She puts some of her life into a corpse and makes a meat shield. It will defend her, fight for her or do whatever she needs them too. No longer is she limited t animals. Anything that was once alive is now fair game. The dead creatures she takes over become extensions of herself and help her fight her battles. She and her minions have a strange kind of understanding and communication. She is ultimately their controller, but they are able to relay information back to her should she ask it of them. This communication has no distance limit. When she reanimates a corpse, she relives its last moments. She gets a vision of what they saw through their eyes, but she has become desensitized to violence and gore and gets a sick kind of enjoyment from it now. Once, she used to hate losing control of herself. When she gives away her life to a corpse, some of her humanity is removed from her for a short time. When the safety of others was at risk, she would do everything she could to keep control of herself. But there came a point of no return where she gave up on morals. Her power has turned into a raving lunatic. Gaunt. Pale. Small. This girl's size doesn't make her out to be a death bringer. But the veil covering her eyes hides the frantic, dangerous gaze she gives anyone who crosses her path. Her hair is curly, but matted and dirty. She cares little for her appearance now that she has gone crazy. But sometimes, when she catches her reflection in a shard of broken glass, she is reminded of the days when she used to do beautiful make up. She no longer has the dexterity or the supplies to do it though, so she smears black ash across her eyes, giving her a look of bleeding mascara. Her concern is only one person and everything else doesn't matter to her. Not even her three human minions following her. They are zombies of varying stages of decay, but her power has slowed that process so that they can follow Liliana longer. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=PERSONALITY] [attr="class","appcon"]Likes: Black, Smoke, Ash, Cats, Sal [attr="class","appcon"]Dislikes: White, bright lights, other people, being slowed down, human necessities like eating. [attr="class","appcon"]General Personality: Personality is a foreign concept to Liliana now. She doesn't talk to anyone. She only cares about finding someone she used to know. That is her one goal in the pitiful existence some might call her life. Should she come across another human being or group of humans, she will simply ignore them unless they approach her. Most often they will, since everyone in this world is trying to decide if strangers are friends or enemies. It depends on how she feels that day if she attacks or not. If she's in a hurry, she will sic her zombies on whoever crosses her path. If she isn't, she might indulge in conversation for just long enough for her new friend to realize she is bat shit crazy. The things she says usually don't make sense. She is sporadic and her thoughts have no continuity. The tiniest splash of white on clothing or a sign will set her off. She is unstable and violent. Sometimes bits of her old self will spill through. She is not incapable of compassion or friendliness, but her inconsistency makes that an incredibly rare occasion. The best bet someone has of becoming friendly with her is if they remind her of that one person she is looking for in any way. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=HISTORY] [attr="class","appcon"]Family: All family is deceased. [attr="class","appcon"]History: No one really knows where her powers came from. She grew up on an animal farm and could never watch any of the animals being slaughtered. She took care of a lot of animals, fed some chickens, helped with the cows. But when the time came to kill them, they would never tell her about it because of how attached she would get to the animals. One day, a cow's corpse started to move again after her father slit its throat and it was bleeding out on the floor. Bleeding and hobbling it wandered over to Liliana who was just outside the barn. It begged her to pet it. And she was scarred for life. A strange side effect came with this power to reanimate dead things for a time; she refuses to touch anything white. It's like a compulsion she just cannot get over, but it only started as soon as her power came to her. She started wearing black all the time and listening to strange music (from her family's perspective). She felt safer somehow in black clothing and took comfort in the sad and dreary tones of death metal and doom metal. She is definitely the black sheep of her family. With four older brothers and an older sister, she was the baby of the family. She is so far the only one with strange powers like this. The rest of her family are farm-folk who eat red meat at every meal and drive animals to the slaughter house for a living. Although they still try to accept Liliana as part of the family, it is quite difficult for them to do with her wildly different life style choices. She became a vegan because she did not like the way animals were being treated elsewhere. Her own family is good to their animals, but she's been to and seen some other farms who crowd chickens in together and treat their animals awfully. After the demise of the Phoenix academy, Liliana thrived. All the death and destruction all over the world let her power soar to new heights. There were too many options for her, too much temptation. She wandered in grave yards all over the east coast, collecting the people she used to love. Phoebe, Orianna, Alex. But one still eluded her. She vowed to turn every grave upside down until she found the last one. But as she searched, she realized that there was a small chance Sal was still alive. That's when she ran into Bolas. He made her an offer. Join with him and he will expand her power even further and help her with her quest to find her lost love. By this point, keeping three human minions in line, Liliana was so far gone, Bolas could have offered her a cup of tea and she would have joined him. He presented her with a black lace veil that makes it easier for her to bend death. And she wanders now, searching and leaving a path of destruction in her wake. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] [PTab=ROLEPLAY] In front of the whole school, she cowered before the staff members in front of her. The table cloth was white. And although she tried not to look at it, it was almost blinding. The spotlight shone on it. She hated it. They told her to show them her powers. At least it was too bright to see the hundreds of students who sat behind them. "Ok," she whispered, her hands shaking. A cage was in front of her. There were some groans of disgust, but she approached it. The ones in front could see that is was the corpse of a rat, one that was long dead and was starting to faintly smell. But as she reached in and touched it. It began to move. She saw that it had eaten something very blue and nice smelling. It looked like candy. The rat twisted and curled in her hands, gaining back the strength it once had. It jumped down onto the floor, flesh still barely clinging to its bone. Squeals of disgust emanated from the front row that it went to look at. It hissed at them and ran back to Liliana's feet. She touched the center of its forehead, and retracted the life out of it; silenced again. Her power seemed cruel, even to her, but she couldn't help it: it was her own. "Umm... Thank you." It was no surprise when they presented her with a black ribbon, and she accepted it with downcast eyes. Since that day, she'd learned to control more than one animal at a time and learned how to send her life into a body without touching it. There were complaints of people getting sick and she often got sick from it as well because of how unsanitary it was.
