[attr="class","apptop"]name: [attr="class","appanswer"] Desi Lynn Ansel [attr="class","apptop"]age: [attr="class","appanswer"] 18 [attr="class","apptop"]birthday: [attr="class","appanswer"] March 7, 2001 [attr="class","apptop"]sexuality: [attr="class","appanswer"] (Mostly) Homosexual [attr="class","apptop"]realm: [attr="class","appanswer"] Blue [attr="class","apptop"]power: [attr="class","appanswer"] Water Manipulation [attr="class","apptop"]play by: [attr="class","appanswer"] Joshua Brand [attr="class","apptop"]roleplayer: [attr="class","appanswer"] Sam | |
[PTabbedContent] [PTab=POWER] [attr="class","appcon"]Abilities: Desi is capable of manipulating water and pulling it from pools, a canteen, or even nearby plants and animals[attr="class","appcon"]Explanation of Power: Hydrokinesis: Desi is able to pull water from his surroundings into a single, floating mass. while this is ineffective for striking it is useful for sending down the throats of his enemies and drowning them on dry land, or just collecting water for later. Additionally he can separate the ball into a mist to obscure visibility. Most of the time Desi keeps a canteen to hold the water.Dehydration: An alternative souce of water to his canteen is to pull it out of his surroundings. Animals, plants, this can be just as deadly -and posibly more painful- as drowning the source of the water. This is difficult to do, but plants are an easier source to drain and pound-for-pound are more efficient than animals. Though pulling water out of someone's pores is a powerful message to send. [attr="class","appcon"]Ubeity: [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=APPEARANCE] [attr="class","appcon"]Height: 5'5[attr="class","appcon"]Hair Color: Black[attr="class","appcon"]Eye color: Blue (Right) Brown (Left) [attr="class","appcon"]Play By: Joshua Brand [attr="class","appcon"]General Appearance: Lean, Clear skinned, Desi seems more like a show dog than a survivor. His raven colored hair is kept tidy enough thanks mostly due to water not being an issue. In terms of limbs Desi has slender arms with only what muscle is required in the world, and his legs are notably thicker due to the exercise of walking.The first thing one notices about his face would have to be his eyes: One is a beautiful bright blue, while the other is a dark brown. The second would have to be his black hair or his very well crafted jawline. (His whole face is shaped pretty nice, actually.) [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=PERSONALITY] [attr="class","appcon"]Likes: His best friend, Space, Cuddling, Climbing things, Talking things out, Observing, Cats, Dogs. [attr="class","appcon"]Dislikes: Self absorbed people, Anyone who does not value life, stringy meat, Fish (Both eating and looking at,) Being hit on, Crunchy foods. [attr="class","appcon"]General Personality: An old soul, Desi was always the more gentle and level-headed one in most scenarios. He prefers to think things out and weigh the options, even when there is no time to do so. When he is alone it is not uncommon for him to ponder his life and where he fits. Yeah, he's sensitive.Space has always fascinated Fane. Lately through some introspection he has realized that he projected his wish to escape the life he had onto the interest. Who could hurt him up there? He is much more comfortable around men (or would it be boys?) close to his due to the only real positive people in his life have matched the description. That isn't to say he doesn't get along with the other sex, just that he gets along better with males. While Desi normally strays away from violence he is fiercely protective of his friends, and is by all means willing to finish the job if it is needed to keep him safe. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}][PTab=HISTORY] [attr="class","appcon"]Family: GRACE- Mother (Deceased)DANIEL- Step-Father (Deceased) [attr="class","appcon"]History: Desi had it rough from the start. With an ill-suited mother and an abusive father, his only person to rely on was his best friend. Whenever Daniel was away Desi ran away to meet his friend to escape the reality of his situation. Of course, this could only last a few hours at most, and Desi often came home to a belt (In the best case scenario.)Desi just tried to keep his mind busy and process what happened to him all too often when he felt like it. Schoolwork achieved this, as did hobbies such such as yo-yos and Rubik's cubes. This kept some of the heat off of him, as well. Then when Desi was ten something changed inside him. It started with water being drawn towards him, but pretty soon he was consciously moving water back and and forth with a flick of the wrist. Maybe if he only showed his friend he wouldn't have gotten picked up and taken away, but that didn't happen. Another friend, maybe two or three others unfortunately saw him practicing and not even a week later some people showed up to take him away. This day Fane looks upon as a good thing, but at the time Fane just wanted to stay wherever his friend was From there Desi Withdrew from talking to people. The conditions were nice, but it was difficult to adjust to not having a friend to confide in. Even if the social workers at the school were supportive, Fane never spoke in detail with them. Over the next three years Desi slowly came out of the shell that he made for himself, made some friends, and had some counseling. He was starting to get over everything that happened when Bolas turned the world upside down. Shortly after the school he went to dispersed amidst the chaos. Desi just sort of walked in the direction he though home was hoping to god that his friend survived and that his parents did not. the latter happened. there were corpses to prove it. But nowhere did he see the body of his lost friend. With a heavy heart Desi chose to move on. By a stroke of luck -or misfortune- Desi fell in with a gang of survivors. rationalized the things he did with them as necessary to stay alive and after much convincing he listened to himself. Eventually the gang started to fight from within and Desi elected to leave in the night taking enough food to keep himself fed in the wild, but leaving enough to sustain the rest of the group. He found their way to new york where they joined up with the rebellion. [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] [PTab=ROLEPLAY]There was hunting, and there was gathering. Forrester was handling the first one, so Fane decided to look around the run-down buildings and see what there was to take. Why be a drain at camp when you could be contributing? He slung an empty bag and his trusty canteen around his narrow shoulders, intent to come back with something useful. The door creaked open when pushed, revealing a rundown apartment building interior. Fane gingerly took a few steps in, generally it was best not to make too much noise in unfamiliar buildings. Inside there a drawer there was a full pack of smokes and in a cupboard a few cans of peaches. Both were great presents for Forest. Fane couldn't help but smile. 'On your knees, boy. And... toss that bag over here. Suddenly the door behind Fane closed. It was one man. Much larger, too. More importantly, he had a pistol. Fane kind of had to give him what he wanted, at least until the man looked away. "O-okay." he complied with the order, throwing the bag to the man's feet and dropping to his knees. 'Now, you just stay right there.' The man started looking through the contents, only glancing up only when the force of a surge of water knocked the gun out of his hand. when he looked back up, the water had been brought back to Fane, who was in the process of standing back up. "Ye really shouldn'ta robbed me. Sorry 'bout this, Truly." Fane said before moving an arm forward to send the water down the man's throat and into the lungs. Poor guy struggled towards the gun, but it was just a bit too far to reach. Once the thrashing and gurgling stopped Fane grabbed his bag, searched the body, and left. Not the best haul ever, but at least Forest would be happy [/PTab={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] .[/PTabbedContent={max-height:200px;min-height:200px;}] |
